colon space close-brackets

There are times which are rather ultramarine,
where you ponder a list of woeful achievements and sulk at the things undone.
But then you open the blinds and brave the sun,
like a warming blazing fire
you remember: 'It's all pretty amazing right now.'

I'm going to miss living with friends.

Watering Hole.

This is a picture of the liquor shelf at my dear friends regular watering hole: Baranows. It's a nice, quiet, classy place on the corner of Glenferrie Road and Burwood Road in Hawthorn. They have the largest collection of exquisite drinks along with one of the greatest bartender I have ever met, to mix my drinks.

This quaint little cigar bar lounge is, in a word amazing. Being outside the CBD allows the prices to remain cheap for it's high quality. Their seasonal cheese platter is delicious as is their selection of whiskeys, cognac, wines and fortified. The import so many things that I believe it's one of the best places to go to entertain your tongue or to seek something new (that is, if you're willing to pay the price).

I really do adore this place. Not only for it's impressive liquor selection at a cheap price; but also because of the accessibility, the local crowd, the familiarity of the bartenders. But the most importantly my friends who go there.

The only criticism of this place, is that every other place I go to now, seems inferior (but only if you're looking for liquors.)

Sometimes I wish our regular watering hole wasn't this classy, it's always nice to be a bit more casual in our outings. To contrast, below is a picture of Sister Bella.

It's a cute little hide-away bar in the middle of the city, down a remote little back alleyway. They have your very stock standard selection of beers and extremely limited liquors (their shelf consists of about 5 bottles of beer, and a handful of liquor). For a casual afternoon drink, this place is near perfect.

There are plenty of more delicious places in the city than Sister Bella, but I don't think I have found anything else so far that's as...'daggy'.
